BRIGHT+CO Marketing Adds Public Relations Specialist to Team
Greenville, S.C. (November 8, 2017) – BRIGHT+CO Marketing announced that Mary Pat Buchanan Minor has joined the company as public relations specialist and project manager.
Prior to joining BRIGHT+CO Marketing, Minor has served as public relations and marketing specialist at Greenville Health System and as vice president of marketing and public relations at the YMCA of Greenville.
Minor has been recognized for her outstanding community service and professional involvement. She is currently serving on the LiveWell Greenville Leadership board and is a volunteer at the Greenville Humane Society. She has previously served on numerous committees for the Greenville Cancer Survivors Park and on the board of directors for Emrys, the Upstate Children’s Center, the Piedmont Council for Prevention of Child Abuse, the Alliance for Community Trust, Buncombe Street United Methodist Church, YWCA and the Community Foundation of Greenville, among other organizations.
Minor holds a Bachelor of Science degree in marketing and advertising from East Tennessee State University. She has been inducted in the East Tennessee State University Hall of Fame for Advertising. She is a past national alumnae officer for Kappa Delta Sorority and has been nominated for Kappa Delta’s National Order of the Pearl Award for attributes to the community, state and nation.
A native of Greenville, Minor is the daughter of Buck Buchanan and the late Mary Ann Buchanan. She and her husband, John R. Minor III, have four children, Lillian, Frances, Eleanor and Jay.
