Nominated by readers and selected by a panel of judges, the 25 women recognized in inaugural award group have been selected based on their leadership and career achievements, as well as their efforts to serve and improve their community.

As the founder and CEO of BRIGHT+CO, Sutton has helped countless companies locally and nationally to increase sales, enhance profitability, handle crisis situations and grow their brand reputation. Her unique business model focuses heavily on empowering and encouraging highly tenured female marketers, who are experts in their respective marketing disciplines. A WBENC-certified woman owned business, BRIGHT+CO has doubled its full-time staff and increased its year-over-year business by more than 40 percent over the past year.
