ACCOUNT MANAGER

Account Managers at BRIGHT+CO are responsible for helping to create long-term, trusting relationships with our clients. The Account Manager’s role is to oversee a portfolio of assigned clients, work with team to develop plans as well as look for new business from existing clients and prepare monthly reports to clients to show how the approved plan is progressing. The person should have solid experience in marketing with a customer service approach and have a clear idea of how digital tools add value to a company’s strategy and performance. The Account Manager will liaise with cross-functional internal teams to advance the marketing plan efforts as well as to improve the entire customer experience. Bottom line, a successful Account Manager should collaborate with our internal team to achieve efficiency while keeping our clients satisfied and engaged with our products and services. This role reports directly to the Vice President of Client Services.

Responsibilities include:

  • Operate as a support to the Vice President of Client Services for some accounts and as the lead point of contact for any and all matters specific to directly assigned accounts
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships
  • Oversee client account management, including strategies, media plans, social and PR programs to maximize client spend levels with BRIGHT+CO
  • Maintain communication between the team, stakeholders, and clients
  • Oversee each phase of projects to ensure all deadlines are met
  • Evaluate marketing campaigns for effectiveness
  • Collaborate with creative, social and PR teams to create a uniform message
  • Work with the Social Media Manager to prepare & present social media strategies to clients
  • Collaborate with the Media Manager to suggest, design and implement integrated media projects to increase customer ROI
  • Ensure the timely and successful delivery of our solutions according to client needs and objectives
  • Clearly communicate the progress of monthly/quarterly initiatives to internal and external stakeholders
  • Prepare reports on account status
  • Assist with challenging client requests or issue escalations as needed

Skills and qualifications:

  • 3+ years of agency marketing experience
  • Demonstrable ability to communicate, present and influence key stakeholders at all levels of an organization, including executive and C-level
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office suite
  • Solid experience with miscellaneous software such as, SEO/SEM, AdWords, CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, Zoho CRM or HubSpot)
  • Experience delivering client-focused solutions to meet customer needs
  • Proven ability to juggle multiple accounts and projects at any given time, while maintaining sharp attention to detail
  • Commitment to learning — asking questions when something isn’t clear, being open to learning, and eager to collaborate
  • Commitment to excellence — working nonstandard hours when necessary, anticipating issues and communicating with diplomacy
  • The charm to build relationships (internally and with clients)
  • Excellent listening, organizational and presentation abilities
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

PROJECT COORDINATOR

Project Coordinators (may also be referred to as Account Coordinator) at BRIGHT+CO are responsible for helping to create long-term, trusting relationships with our clients and teammates. The Project Coordinator’s role is to support a Project or Account Lead on managing the workload and workflow of a portfolio of assigned client projects. The Project Coordinator will support the Project Lead to develop plans and manage projects for clients. He/She will prepare client contact reports, status reports, conduct competitive research and other support tasks to show how the marcom plan or project is progressing. The Project Coordinator will liaise with cross-functional internal teams to improve the project management efforts as well as to improve the entire customer experience. Bottom line, a successful Project Coordinator should collaborate with the BRIGHT team to achieve efficiency while keeping our clients satisfied and engaged with the agency’s services.

Specific responsibilities include:

  • Operating as the support role to the client leadership team on any and all matters specific to assigned accounts.
  • Building and maintaining strong, long-lasting client relationships
  • Supporting client account management, including helping to manage communication plans, media plans, social and PR programs in order for the client’s to maximize their assets and spend levels in order to see value with BRIGHT+CO services.
  • Ensure the timely deliverables of client project needs
  • Be proactive in supporting the overall health and relationship of the client
  • Clearly communicate the progress of monthly/quarterly initiatives to internal and external stakeholders
  • Prepare reports on account status
  • Assist with challenging client requests or issue escalations as needed
  • Demonstrable ability to communicate, present and influence key stakeholders at all levels of an organization, including executive and C-level
  • Stay up-to-date with marcom trends
  • Solid experience with MS Office (particularly MS Excel)
  • Proven ability to juggle multiple account management projects at a time, while maintaining sharp attention to detail
  • Excellent listening, negotiation and presentation abilities
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

SOCIAL MEDIA STRATEGIST 

BRIGHT+CO is seeking a passionate and creatively minded Social Media Strategist for our agency. You’re organized and goal oriented. You are curious. You take feedback well. You’re a self-starter that also likes collaborating with a team. And you’re open to trying new things. This role has tremendous growth potential for someone who is a skilled communicator who not only enjoys creating great content but developing the strategies that will guide that content as well. If you find true satisfaction when you discover just the right turn of phrase, develop the perfect piece of content to fit a trending moment, or collaborate with team members to produce results for clients, then this position will be a perfect fit.

Your day-to-day work will include developing strategies, generating and posting content for social channels, and communicating with internal teams and clients about that content. You’ll craft original posts, create some of your own assets, capitalize on trending moments, and ideate innovative approaches that’ll make your content and drive results for clients.

This role reports directly to the Chief Operating Officer.

Responsibilities include:

  • Develop, implement, and manage social media strategies
  • Prepare & present social media strategies to clients
  • Define most important social media KPIs
  • Manage and oversee social media content
  • Measure the success of every social media campaign
  • Stay up to date with latest social media best practices and technologies
  • Use social media marketing tools such as Sendible
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including account managers, media specialists, copywriters, and designers
  • Track and analyze SEO to provide effective solutions for content optimization
  • Effectively manage content and schedule/publish on client social media platforms
  • Remain up to date on trending content, conversations, news, events, and engaging social formats
  • Directly engage with consumers on client channels like Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, etc.
  • Concept and develop low to medium-lift social assets and content
  • Reimagine existing assets in new and engaging ways
  • Monitoring of social channels to identify strategic opportunities, provide community insights to help guide creative teams, and flag potential issues
  • Participate in brainstorms, communicate concepts, and take direction and feedback from Creative Directors and Account Managers
  • Become the expert on your assigned accounts to help drive tone and strategy both internally and with clients
  • Collaborate with the Media Manager on paid social campaigns, and to review analytics and prepare reports

Skills and qualifications:

  • 3+ years of agency-side or brand experience developing social media strategies and creative concepts, editing copy, and engaging with an audience
  • Extensive knowledge of social media platforms and best practices
  • Knowledge of emerging and trending platforms such as TikTok
  • Commitment to learning — asking questions when something isn’t clear, being open to learning, and eager to collaborate
  • Experience communicating with clients on a day-to-day basis
  • Proven ability to juggle multiple accounts at a time, while maintaining sharp attention to detail
  • The charm to build relationships (internally and with clients)
  • Familiarity with Content Management Systems
  • Exceptional spelling and grammar
  • Commitment to excellence — working nonstandard hours when necessary, anticipating issues and communicating with diplomacy, identifying emerging platforms and trends to drive innovation
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Box
  • Design, Photoshop, and/or video editing skills developing social content is a plus, but not required
