Agency becomes agency of record for Greenville Swamp Rabbits

Greenville, S.C. (March 17, 2021) – Greenville-based full-service marketing communications firm BRIGHT+CO Marketing is pleased to announce it has added another sports team, the Greenville Swamp Rabbits, to its client roster. BRIGHT+CO is already the agency of record for the Greenville Drive. A member of the ECHL Premier ‘AA’ Hockey League, the Swamp Rabbits are proud affiliates of the National Hockey League’s (NHL’S) Florida Panthers and American Hockey League’s (AHL’s) Charlotte Checkers and are the highest-level minor league franchise in South Carolina.

The Swamp Rabbits organization was acquired in Spring 2020 by Cornelius, N.C.-based international sports agency Spire Sports+Entertainment, Inc., which immediately recognized the need for aggressive marketing and community outreach as it awaited decisions on an uncertain season due to COVID. Based on the strength of the agency’s media relationships, content development expertise, community outreach efforts and strategic advertising and media buying, the Swamp Rabbits began its relationship with BRIGHT at the close of the year. BRIGHT+CO’s scope of work includes strategic guidance and supporting Spire’s team with PR, social media and media budgeting and buying.

The Swamp Rabbits became the first team to return to live indoor sports in our area when it opened its season late last year. BRIGHT+CO has been working with the team since that time.
